Restaurant Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate activities of staff by scheduling, training and assigning duties
· Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
· Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary
· Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the restaurant’s specific dishes or menus
· Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
· Prepare order summaries and reports
· Train new servers/attendants in their duties, company procedures, sanitation and safety procedures
Requirements:
· 1+ years of experience
· Completion of secondary school
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Proficiency in POS systems; familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
Working Condition:
· Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, and evenings as needed
