Ocean Freight Coordinator
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate and streamline ocean freight shipments and transportation process
· Arrange scheduling and activities with other work units or departments
· Monitor container moves and provide weekly report
· Arrange and manage paperwork for customs clearance
· Communicate with customers and report on shipping status and potential service issues
· Establish and maintain strong relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
· Prepare reports and escalate serious issues to management
SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· 1+ years’ experience
· Completion of secondary school
· Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills
· Must be able to work in a team setting and individually with minimal supervision
· Excellent problem-solving skills applying initiative and creative thinking to resolve conflict
· Excellent organizational and time management skills for multi-tasking in a dynamic working environment
· Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills in all facets of duties and responsibilities

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Salary $55,000 per year
