Head Baker
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the operation of bakery team
· Provide training and supervise bakery team, demonstrate leadership and foster teamwork
· Ensure production of all bakery items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner
· Prepare and bake breads, rolls, cakes, pies, pastries and other baked goods and ensure production schedules are met
· Develop and test recipes for new products
· Collaborate with management and marketing teams for merchandising and promotion of new products
· Monitor and maintain inventory of baking supplies and resolve equipment issues
· Maintain a clean and organized environment and ensure hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
· Assist the management in hiring baking and kitchen staff
Requirements:
· 3+ years’ baker experience
· Completion of secondary school
· Proven team leadership and management skills
· Must be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment
· Must be familiar with, and comply with, all health and safety standards
· Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
· Attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks
· Good interpersonal skills and team player
Working Conditions:
· Be able to work early morning shifts and weekend
· Standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

Salary $25.50~32.50 per hour
