Hairstylist Apprentice
YOUR ROLES WILL INCLUDE:
· Analyze clients’ hair style and their instruction and suggest a compatible hair style unique to each client’s needs
· Apply hair style services (trim, cut, wash, colour, styling) according to clients’ direction and needs
· Analyze clients’ hair and scalp conditions and recommend a proper hair treatment solution and product
· Book appointments, order supplies, maintain client record, and perform other necessary administrative duties
· Keep a clean and safe work environment
· May perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· 1+ year experience
· Completion of secondary school
· Excellent communication, active listening and teamwork skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills for multi-tasking in a dynamic working environment
· Strong customer service skills
· Basic computer skills to maintain clientele record
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Standing for extended periods
· Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational need may require.

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time – 35 hours per week
Wage $20 per hour, plus tips and commission
Bonus available based on performance
Annual wage review available based on experience and performance
