Floral Designer
We are opening a flower shop in Midtown Toronto in September 2024 and looking for an experienced, dedicated and artistic Floral Designer to join our team.
Main duties:
· Design and create bouquets, corsages, wreaths, and other kinds of floral arrangement following the customers requests
· Discuss with customers to determine the type of arrangement desired and provide suggestions for flower selection
· Design and prepare customized flower arrangement for occasions such as weddings, funerals, or celebrations and events
· Sort, cut, arrange fresh flowers and maintain floral products
· Order and purchase supplies and products
· Respond to customer inquiries and inform about the care, maintenance, and handling of flowers and foliage
· Ensure a clean and safe work environment in accordance with store’s standard
Requirements:
· 2+ years’ work experience in a floral design or related field
· Completion of secondary school
· Must possess creative ability and talent, knowledge of safe handling of material, tools and equipment
· Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
· Flexible to work daytime and weekends

Wage $20~$25 (CAD) per hour
