We are looking for experienced cooks to joint our team.

 

JOB TITLE

Cook

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.

·         Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, butchering meat etc.)

·         Cook complete various foods according to our recipe.

·         Check food while cooking to stir/or turn.

·         Check the quality of ingredients.

·         Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities.

·         Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.

·         Work with specialized equipment such as pizza ovens and grill etc.

·         Clean kitchen and work area.

·         May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.

·         Inspect food preparation and serving areas in accordance with food safety rules of the Province of British Columbia.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         2+ years of cooking experience required.

·         Completion of secondary school.

·         Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time.

·         Good communication and teamwork skills.

·         Foodsafe certificate is an asset

POSITION TYPE

·         Permanent, Full-Time, 30~ 44 hours/week

·         In person

·         Wage – $21.00~$26.50 per hour, to be negotiated

·         Incremental raises based on performance available at company’s discretion

·         Bonus available at company’s discretion

·         Supplement Pay type | We work as a team and pool tips
