Roles and Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook complete meals in a timely manner
· Adhere to the recipes and ensure quality standards
· Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory
· Process and prepare food and beverage stock including fish and seafood for cooking
· Work with staff collaboratively and promote teamwork
· Maintain cleanliness of work station and adhere to sanitary standards
Requirements:
· 1+ year experience
· Experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
· Completion of secondary school
· Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
· Able to work under pressure, produce results, handle numerous tasks at once
· Team player, able to work in close conditions with several other people
· Knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations
· Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekend
