Cake and Pastry Decorator – Retail
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Making, frosting decorating variety of cakes, desserts, pastries, and other baked goods
· Mix and bake ingredients to produce cakes, pies, pastries and other baked goods
· Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to recipes
· Producing all items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner meeting the established standards
Requirements:
· 2+ years’ experience
· College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
· Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
· Must be creative, detail-oriented and able to distinguish between colours
· Must be familiar with, and comply with all health and safety standards
· Ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, attention to detail performing repetitive tasks
· Good interpersonal skills and team player
Working Conditions:
· Able to work day, early morning, evening, flexible hours, morning, night and weekend
· Standing for extended periods

Position Type:
Permanent, Full-Time – 38~40 hours/week
Wage – $20.00 (CAD) per hour
Incremental wage raise available depending on annual performance review
