TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $26.50 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 Hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Warehouse
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and implement schedules for tasks and operations, while also defining and enforcing efficient procedures within the warehouse.
Ensure the seamless operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and coordinate maintenance and repair work as needed.
Address and resolve various issues and related complaints, implementing corrective measures and make necessary changes to improve.
Responsible for training new employees and the ongoing training of existing employees to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.
Conduct annual reviews on employees performance for appraisal and provide them opportunity to improve.
Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for stock management.
Promote and maintain strict Health & Safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislations and safe practices and actively participating in their enhancement.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of college in related discipline.
Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience is required in the position or related position
Ability to supervise 5-10 people.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
Ability to lift heavy weights, meet tight deadlines and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and high level of confidentiality, integrity, ethics and professionalism
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office, MS Word, MS powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows would be an asset.
Ability to work independently, flexible for all shifts, good time management, organizational, good teamwork and Interpersonal Skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
