VK DELIVERY AND MOVING SERVICES located at #137 2634 45 AV SE CALGARY, AB, T2B 3M1, Canada is looking to hire long haul truck drivers to transport goods at distant places all across Canada and USA. Candidate should have valid driver’s license and willing to travel for extended periods. Pay per hour will be industry competitive wage of $ 30.00 per hour. There is no requirement for education or experience, but the experience is always going to be an asset and the company is willing to train the selected candidates. The working hours will be 40-60 hours a week. This is a permanent and full-time position, and the driver is required to perform the following major set of duties.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
