Gill International Carriers Ltd located at 34 Abigail Grace Cres, Brampton, ON L6X 0A9, Canada is looking for four truck drivers for tractor-trailer Dry Vans bulk with minimum high school education. The candidate should also have AZ class license with air brakes endorsement. Pay per hour will be $24.50 to 27.50 based on experience and skills. This is a permanent full-time position with 32 to 44 hours per week.
Some of the duties of the Truck Driver are:
· Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
· Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
· Perform brake adjustments
· Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
· Perform preventive maintenance
· Receive and relay information to central dispatch
· Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
