JOIN OUR TEAM
We are currently looking to hire an organized and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Escorting individuals or groups on tours of cities such as Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, as well as exploring local waterways and various establishments in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
· Highlighting notable landmarks, responding to visitor inquiries, and offering detailed information
· Sharing intriguing historical and cultural facts and stories about each site
· Handling admission fees and managing souvenir sales as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
· Completion of secondary school
· Experience is an asset
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Excellent storytelling and creativity skills
· Fluent English
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
· Full-time, permanent position consisting of 30 to 35 weekly work hours
· The remuneration will be set at $18.00 per hour
· On-the-job training will be provided
· Occasional overtime may be required. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate
