We are seeking a Take Out Restaurant Manager for our Gas Station and Convenience Store to handle and manage the food service department.
Job Duties:
· Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the food service operations of the restaurant
· Assessing type of food services to be offered and providing recommendations for operational procedures
· Ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards
· Resolving customer complaints and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
· Negotiating arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
· Examining food service area to ensure sanitary standards are met
· Participating in selection of food service staff as needed; and
· Assisting in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
· Requirements:
· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekdays and 3 out of 4 weekends.
· High Level of confidentiality, integrity & ethics dealing with large cash amounts
· Secondary School graduation required
· Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience preferred in retail store supervision setting
· Ability to supervise/manage a team of 2-3 employees
· Ability to work well in a team-oriented multi-tasking environment
· Ability to work independently, flexible hours, great time management, good team work and Interpersonal Skills.
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills
