ABOUT VACANCY
At this time, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise and coordinate staff in day-to-day activities
· Prepare work schedules per shifts
· Supervise food preparation in the kitchen
· Manage kitchen inventory and advise management of any stock shortages
· Train new staff in job duties, company policies, and sanitation and safety procedures
· Ensure quality control in food preparation
· Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by enforcing and following standards and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
– Completion of secondary school
– Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field OR minimum 2 years of experience in food service industry
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Team player
– Fluent English
WORK CONDITIONS
– Permanent, full-time position
– $18.00 per hour
– 35 hours of work per week
– Overtime pay ($27.00/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
