Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
Supervise and co-ordinate duties of cashiers and shelf stockers
Prepare work schedule and assign duties to staff and make necessary adjustments to meet operational needs
Lead by example to consistently demonstrate customer-centric approach and promotion positive employee morale
Manage staff’s performance through communication of responsibilities and goals, performance evaluation and documentation by completing employee reviews and performance appraisals.
Provide staff with the training, information, tools, coaching, guidance, encouragement and recognition needed to meet expectations and/or take on higher levels of responsibility within store
Sell merchandise to customers and authorize returns of merchandise
Prepare sales reports
Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints in a speedy and effective manner
Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with internal and external partners to ensure that merchandise is optimally staged, ordering issues are promptly addressed, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Secondary school education
Minimum 7 months – 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or wholesale industry
