Description: The position supports Store Management by contributing to the successful operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction at all times.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
∙ Supervise and co-ordinate duties and tasks of staff
∙ Assign duties to staff and adjust to meet operational needs
∙ Sell merchandise to customers and authorize returns of merchandise
∙ Resolve customer complaints in a speedy and effective manner
∙ Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise as per Managements requirement
∙ Manage pricing for all new inventory and communicate price changes to staff
∙ Train new staff as needed
∙ Operate point of sale system and manage cash flow as needed
∙ Performing the necessary tasks as the employee of a Petro-Canada branded dealer
∙ Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
∙ Secondary school education
∙ Minimum 7 months – 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or customer service at supervisor or managerial level
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including mornings, afternoons, graveyards and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7, 7 days a week.
