Description: The position supports Store Management by contributing to the successful
operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-
Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction
at all times.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
Supervise and co-ordinate duties and tasks of staff
Assign duties to staff and adjust to meet operational needs
Sell merchandise to customers and authorize returns of merchandise
Resolve customer complaints in a speedy and effective manner
Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise as per Managements
requirement
Manage pricing for all new inventory and communicate price changes to staff
Train new staff as needed
Operate point of sale system and manage cash flow as needed
Performing the necessary tasks as the employee of a Petro-Canada branded
dealer
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Secondary school education
Minimum 7 months – 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or
customer service at supervisor or managerial level
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including mornings,
afternoons, graveyards and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7,
7 days a week.
