Westdell Development Corporation is hiring one full time Project Interior Designer for our designing development team, located in 1701 Richmond St Unit 3B, London, ON N5X 3Y2. Ph #519-850-0000
As a project interior designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of cutting-edge and innovative interior designs for mid and high-density residential projects within the company.
WE OFFER:
· Wage of $85,000.00 per year.
· 40 hrs per week
DUTIES:
· Spearhead the creation of forward-thinking interior designs for mid and high-density residential developments.
· Lead design consultant teams in developing layouts, finishes, and specifications that align with the company’s vision.
· Consult with clients and determine needs, preferences, purpose of space and all safety requirements.
· Develop plans, showing detail drawings and arrangement of walls, dividers, lighting, unit layouts, etc.
· Possess a strong knowledge of new design trends for high-density developments in various markets. Stay abreast of industry innovations and incorporate them into project designs.
· Coordinate, execute, and manage projects, including material take-off, shipment receiving for residential projects, and monitoring project progress. Ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Business Management Degree
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the Residential/Office Design Construction industry, including space planning, furniture layout, and interior finishes.
· Extensive knowledge of the UAE & Gulf markets
· Familiarity with Arabic aluminium modular kitchens
· Ability to source material and interact with international suppliers, vendors, designers & senior sales executives.
· Fluency in Arabic an asset
