Type of Position: Permanent, full time
Job Description: As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and servicing of swimming pools in commercial and residential properties.
Job Duties:
· Set up and install essential pool equipment such as filters, pumps, and heaters.
· Service and maintain swimming pools, ensuring pools are safe and in optimal working condition.
· Adhere to work order specifications and follow installation procedures and guidelines for installing swimming pool equipment.
· Open swimming pools by removing covers, reinstalling equipment and performing initial cleanings.
· Winterize swimming pools for the off-season.
· Test water quality and chemical levels, and apply necessary treatments to maintain balanced and safe water conditions.
· Clean pool surfaces by using vacuum equipment.
· Perform minor plumbing issues related to pool pumps, filters and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:
· Must be able to work outdoors.
· Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
· Must use a company-provided vehicle to travel to job sites.
Skills, Experience and Education Required:
· At least 6 months of swimming pool installation and servicing experience is required.
· Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and equipment.
· Must have strong communication skills in English.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Completion of Secondary School is preferred.
Wage & Hours: $26 per hour
· Number of days and hours per week: A minimum of 30 hours a week. Schedule is flexible.

Vacation pay is 4% of salary earned.
