COMPANY OVERVIEW:
“BACK PAIN PHYSIOTHERAPY & MASSAGE LTD. O/A AWESOME Physiotherapy of
Richmond Hill” in Richmond Hill, ON is now hiring a full-time and permanent ‘Physiotherapist’ to
join our clinic. We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist to work in our clinic and the eligible
candidate will have previous experience working in the position or a similar position.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $45 per hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35-40 hours/week

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and
functional limitations and determine a physiotherapy diagnosis.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, including setting short-term
and long-term goals for rehabilitation.
Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as manual therapy,
exercise prescription, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and functional
training.
Regularly review and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to
ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies
for managing and improving their health.
Advise patients on injury prevention techniques and ergonomic practices to reduce the risk
of future injuries or complications.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational
therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, and progress
reports, in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in physiotherapy,
and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Adhere to the regulations and standards set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
(CPO).
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
Minimum of 1 year to 2 years of experience strongly preferred.
Certificate of Registration from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Fluent in English and good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended
periods and repetitive tasks
Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication.
