Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
Review and process immigration applications for various programs, ensuring all
required documents are complete and accurate.
Verify information provided in applications against legal and procedural
requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all applications, correspondence, and decisions.
Organize and file documents both electronically and physically.
Communicate with applicants to request additional information or documents as
needed.
Provide information and updates to applicants regarding the status of their
applications.
Ensure all applications comply with immigration laws and regulations.
Coordinate with other immigration officials, legal advisors, and government
agencies to facilitate the processing of applications.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or
discrepancies in applications.
Manage a caseload of applications, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Monitor the progress of applications and follow up on pending cases.
Stay updated on changes to immigration policies and procedures.
Implement new procedures and guidelines as required by changes in legislation
or policy.
Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and providing
guidance on immigration processes and requirements.
Assist clients with completing application forms and understanding the
application process.
Prepare reports on the status of applications, processing times, and other
relevant metrics.
Provide data and analysis to support decision-making and process
improvements.
Conduct regular audits of processed applications to ensure adherence to
standards and identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency in
processing.
Basic Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Education
Minimum 1 year of previous work experience in an administrative role.
