IMPROVE TRUCKING LTD. located in Surrey, BC, Canada is seeking to hire 4 full time permanent Long Haul Truck Drivers.
-SALARY: $28.85/hour.
-POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 6
-JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full Time
-START DATE: As soon As possible
-EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Overtime, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Night.
-EXPERIENCE: No experience required, will train.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Drive as part of a two-person team or single. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
-PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Physically demanding
-TYPE OF TRUCKING AND EQUIPMENT: Straight Truck (4,600 kg or 10,000lbs with 3 axles), Tractor- trailer
-TYPE OF TRAVEL: Long-haul, Provincial/territorial, International
-DOCUMENTATION KNOWLEDGE: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports.
-COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment.
-WEIGHT HANDLING: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
-TRANPORTATION AND TRAVEL INFORMTAION: Must be able to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods.
-WORK LOCATION INFORMATION: Various locations: Canada and US
