team. Insurance agents and brokers sell life, automobile, property, health, and
other types of insurance to individuals, businesses, and public institutions. The
successful candidate will have previous experience working in the position and
well aware of the duties and responsibilities of the position and be able to work
independently.

Salary: $50000 Annual
Hours: 30 to 35 hours/Week
Work Setting: Office
Job Description: The Insurance Agent will be performing the following duties
and responsibilities:
Sell life, automobile, property, health and other types of insurance to
individuals, businesses and public institutions.
Set up client insurance policies, determine premium costs, and arrange
payment methods.
Offer details regarding group and individual insurance plans, the extent of
risk coverage, benefits disbursed, and additional policy attributes.
Ensure completion of necessary forms, medical exams, and other policy
prerequisites.
Oversee insurance claims and address client inquiries.
Ensure all accounts are billed and collected appropriately in keeping with
office policy.
Attend additional training courses and seminars to remain current with any
industry changes.
Remain compliant and professional at all times.
Qualification and Professional Skills Requirement:
Experience
Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience is strongly preferred in the
position or related position
Education
Secondary school completion is required
Provincial or Territorial License is required
LLQP required
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in English; strong
customer service skills
Team player with a positive approach; ability to coach and motivate
others, client focus, and flexible, with a good sense of judgment, and
reliable.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, work under pressure, tight
deadlines.
