Hiring Student Services Coordinator

SELC College is expanding its team and we are currently hiring a Student Services Coordinator to assist our growing students. Position: Student Services Coordinator

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide relevant information to students and external party enquiries, via multi-line phone and emails;
  • Coordinate for services such as airport pick up and accommodation for new students;
  • Assist new students with their admission processes and orientation;
  • Provide administrative support for preparation of marketing materials and operating budgets;
  • Social media creation and management for the study programs and services;
  • Process financial transactions, between students, partnered agencies and school;
  • Set up procedures, manage and update students’ files such as attendance, grades, etc., maintain an efficient filing, indexing and archiving system;
  • Establish work priorities and coordinating of administrative functions to ensure work is completed accurately and within specified timeframes;
  • Monitor and assist students on their resume building, job search relevant to their study program;
  • Carry out research, collect data and prepare reports;
  • Monitor Attendance, support instructors with student attendance issues, issue attendance warnings;
  • Process all student complaints and concerns, following all college policies and procedures;
  • Meet with students to discuss student issues or complaints, work to find a solution;
  • Process student discipline reports and student dismissals;
    Support Campus Director with scheduling of classes and student class allocations;
  • Track and manage student requests.

 

Employment requirements

  • At least a College Diploma program.
  • Strong administrative skills, computer, social media management and research skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative position and deliver a high level of interactive customer service, develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to deal with issues and find a solution.
  • English language

 

Wage

C$25.00 per hour
