MKD Janitorial Services and Consulting Ltd. Located in Surrey, BC is looking for full time permanent “Heavy Duty Cleaners” to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
Heavy Duty Cleaners perform some or all the following duties:
Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Cut grass and tend grounds and plants
Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
Adjust and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Ensure that all security and safety measures are in right place in the establishment
Supervise other workers
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school may be required.
Some occupations in this unit group require previous cleaning and maintenance experience.
A journeyman/woman certificate in one or more of the trades or a building operator certificate may be required for building superintendents.
Salary: $ 23.50 hourly for 40 Hours per week with benefits as per company policy
