Qualifications:

Salary:
26.45/hour

Tasks:

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of bakery staff, including bakers, cake decorators.
  • Developing and maintaining bakery recipes, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
  • Creating and implementing bakery production schedules and ensuring timely production of bakery goods.
  • Overseeing bakery sales, monitoring revenue, and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Hiring, training and developing bakery staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of equipment at each location is properly handled and maintained with weekly, monthly and/or yearly cleanings
  • Managing inventory, including ordering ingredients and supplies, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Draw up production schedules
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
