Salary:
26.45/hour
Tasks:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of bakery staff, including bakers, cake decorators.
- Developing and maintaining bakery recipes, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
- Creating and implementing bakery production schedules and ensuring timely production of bakery goods.
- Overseeing bakery sales, monitoring revenue, and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Hiring, training and developing bakery staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring the maintenance of equipment at each location is properly handled and maintained with weekly, monthly and/or yearly cleanings
- Managing inventory, including ordering ingredients and supplies, and monitoring stock levels.
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
