New World Imports Ltd., located at 578 Kent Ave South E, Vancouver, BC V5X 4V6, is urgently looking to hire one (1) Forklift Operator (NOC 75101)
Forklift Operator (NOC 75101) will have to perform all of these duties:
· Load and unload and move food pallets to designated areas using a forklift.
· Transfer food packages onto and off vehicles
· Organizing pallets and supplies & ensure they are stored correctly.
· Overseeing day-to-day activities in the warehouse
· Perform other duties as needed such as taking inventory of the supplies.
· Inspect & check to make sure packages are secured and unopened or damaged.
Language: Oral communication in English may be required
Education: Some secondary education may be required.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years preferred but willing to train the right candidate
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Dusty
Wage: CA$20.00 per hour for 30 hours per week
Other Benefits: Vacation for 10 business days per year
