“Jay Shree Umiya Inc. O/A Booster Juice” in Welland, ON is now looking for a full time and permanent ‘Food Services Supervisor’ to join our restaurant.
JOB TITLE: Food Service Supervisor
LOCATION: K5 – 800 NIAGARA ST, WELLAND ON L3C 5Z4
JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $18.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35 – 40 hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Restaurant / Food Service Outlet
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and co-ordinate the staff and create work schedules for support staff.
Implement methods to achieve target work schedules set by the company.
Train and schedule staff as per their job duties and in sanitation and safety procedures, to maintain quality in the best interest of the guests and business.
Assisting the Manager in providing training to the newly hired staff as well as the existing staff in their respective job duties and safety procedures.
Ensure the process of order preparation strictly, to observe relevant health and safety regulations as well as meet quality control standards set by the company.
Satisfactorily answer and handle routine customer questions, inquiries, and complaints, if required escalate to the manager.
Order ingredients and supplies required for the preparation of orders.
Maintain, update, and submit reports for inventory, sales, pay outs repairs and wastage.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary School Graduation certificate
7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented, multi-tasking environment, good time management, and Interpersonal Skills.
Ability to supervisor 5-10 people
Fluent in English and flexibility to work different shifts and weekends.
