Salary: 17.50 to 19.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time; 30 to 40 hours/week

Job requirements: Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Supervision: 1 to 2 people; 3-4 people; 5-10 people; Food service counter attendants and food preparers
Work Setting: Coffee shop, Restaurant
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure

Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules; Train staff in job duties; Sanitation and safety procedures; Hire food service staff, and Address customers’ complaints or concerns. Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Estimate and order ingredients and supplies; Ensure food service and quality control; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare food order summaries for chef; Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres; Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys; Establish work schedules; Prepare and submit reports; and Supervise and check assembly of trays.
