We are looking for natural leader to support our General Manager.
Duties
Oversees daily restaurant operations, including kitchen department and dine-in set up.
Ensure the meat including chicken, beef and pork are marinated adequately by the kitchen staff.
· Assist in greeting guests, taking orders and responding to our guest’s complaints and concerns for providing a comforting food experience.
Perform Inventory management tasks
· Responsible for closing & opening of the restaurant in accordance to her shift
Establish work schedules.
Coach, Train and develop a strong kitchen team including new staff.
Ensuring a high level of cleanliness at all times.
· Place appropriate food and beverage orders to ensure adequate supply of fresh products on hand in alignment with sales volume
Ensuring labour and production plans are adjusted as per the requirement to minimize the wastage
· Assist in ensuring the use of fresh, top-quality ingredients while balancing costs daily
Deliver Perfect Guest Experience by ensuring food quality is at the highest standards of Swiss Chalet’s established food quality and plating specifications
Requirements
Secondary School Completion
Six months of experience in similar role.
Ability to legally work in Canada
