New Age Granite and Marble Ltd. is a specialty distributor of natural stone. The company deals with high quality Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Quartz, Onyx, Limestone and Travertine imported from all over the world.
At this time, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Officer to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Conduct verification of financial transactions and procedures
– Perform account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
– Perform accounts payable functions, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
– Manage and process payrolls for staff
– Complete payroll deductions and remittances, tax remittance forms, HTS
– Maintain general ledger and financial records
– Prepare progress reports and other financial statements
– Perform other duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
– Completion of a college program or courses in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
– Minimum 1 year of experience as Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role
– Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
– Experience in using QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and/or similar accounting software
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
WORK CONDITIONS
– Permanent, full-time position
– $25.00 per hour
– 40 hours of work per week
– Overtime pay ($37.50/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
