Responsibilities:
Design Conceptualization:
· Generate innovative and trendsetting fashion design concepts that align with Armaan DBG’s brand aesthetic.
· Collaborate with the creative team to develop cohesive and inspiring collections.
Sketching and Prototyping:
· Translate design concepts into detailed sketches and prototypes, considering materials, patterns, and construction techniques.
Material Selection and Sourcing:
· Work closely with the sourcing team to select and procure high-quality materials that meet design specifications.
Quality Control:
· Oversee the production process to ensure the quality and integrity of the final products, maintaining Armaan DBG’s commitment to excellence.
Trend Research:
· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging fashion influences, incorporating relevant elements into design concepts.
Collaboration:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to bring designs to market effectively.
Qualifications:
· In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction techniques.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating unique and visually appealing designs.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
· Certificate or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field or equivalent experience.
Terms of Employment:
Wage: $34.00 per hour/30 hours per week & 4% vacation pay
Language: English
Work Conditions/capabilities: work under pressure, tight deadlines, ability to distinguish between colours.
