· Job duties:
o Managing digital campaigns: study, approve, and make suggestions for every advertisement regarding its scientific validity, legality, and health claims.
o Co-ordinating with directors for sales, purchases, marketing activities; and with manufacturers on product development.
o Presenting annual reports on the company’s retail and wholesale trade both for national and international markets.
o Formulating annual and long-term policy drafts for product development and assigning priorities in accordance with prevailing health statistics and demands.
o Closely overseeing and approving the labels used for products and their disclaimers, including indications and possible adverse effects while keeping in mind official and legal mandates.
o Conducting research in medical databases and peer-reviewed journals and compiling an evidence base for unique and innovative blends of formulations focusing on lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and metabolic syndromes.
o Structuring formulas of new blends of supplements in line with Canadian government policies and Health Canada’s recommendations for obtaining license approvals, grants, or subsidies for the company.
o Training sales and marketing teams.
o Developing and managing audio-visual educational campaigns on social media and participate in seminars/conferences, meetings, or presentations on the company’s behalf.
· Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

· Wage: $54.00 per hour subject to annual revision, incremental raises, performance pay or bonus.

· Skills requirements:
o Required education:
* A university degree in Nutrition, Pharmacy, Internal Medicine, or a related health care field is required.
* A Doctor of Medicine degree in Clinical Medicine recognized by Medical Council of Canada is preferred but not required.
o Required work experience:
At least 10 years of managerial experience.
At least 5 years of experience in developing, planning, and executing health care services in a community setting.
Significant experience dealing with lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders or obesity.
Significant experience with preparing scientific deliberations and presentations.
Significant experience with community-based research regarding lifestyle diseases.
Substantial knowledge of nutritional, environmental, socio-economic, and ethnic factors involved in lifestyle diseases.
Strong networking and communication skills.
