Business/Work location: 706 – 13th Street South, Golden, BC V0A 1H0; Based at the address but delivery route is to various locations within Kootenay and Thompson-Okanagan regions
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Part-time may available
Wage: $23.00 per hour, 30 – 40 hours per week
Benefits: May provide periodic wage increases per industry standards and employee performance; Relocation costs (air fare) covered by employer

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: At least 1 year of driving with a Class 5 License (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles). Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
Job Description: Operate and drive light trucks to deliver various items and products; Professionalism in customer service; Receive and relay information to dispatch; May prepare, package and restock goods; Load and unload goods; Use maps and other trip planning aids (if required); Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems; Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs); Perform administrative tasks
Transportation/Travel experience: Regional; Valid driver’s license
Security and safety: Driver’s Abstract and be able to pass a Drug Testing
Work Setting: Retail/wholesale distribution center with delivery trucks travelling to various locations
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads
