Laureate College is seeking a professional who will be responsible for the development of Mainland China markets for school partnership, student recruitment, analyzing and evaluating international student applications and supporting documents to determine equivalencies and admissions eligibility of students to our secondary and ESL programs.

This position is expected to work on-site at the Laureate College’s campus.

This role requires both time in the field making presentations and developing relationships with the potential partnering schools in China in addition to the individual recruitment activities and follow-up.

Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Wage/Salary: $45.00 per hour

Benefits: Potential commission based on enrolment rates

Language: Proficient knowledge of English and Mandarin are required

Duties:

Accomplish the specified and mandatory goal(s) metrics for enrolment numbers
Communicate through various channels with potential business partners, including public and private schools in China and agencies
Manage the joint and/or off-shore OSSD programs with the partnering schools and agencies
Communicate with agency contacts and assist with agent requests
Provide information regarding programs, application status, and program eligibility to applicants
Research and report updates of overseas and domestic education markets to develop an effective marketing strategy and plan
Organize and attend student orientations, education fairs and other marketing events
Promote High School OSSD programs, ESL and EAP in China
Collect feedback and remain in communication with international students and agents to update them about school news and events
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student satisfaction and success

Qualifications: Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution. A minimum of three years of experience in an international or multi-cultural setting and experience with international programs, educational systems and international secondary school curriculums. Preference provided to candidates with experience in China.
