Salary: $46.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 35 hours/Week
Work Setting: Office
Job Description: The Business Development Officer is responsible to perform
the following duties and responsibilities:
 Liaison with overseas supplier and search on regular basis for new
suppliers/customers to look for new business opportunities
 Develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer
satisfaction and conduct comparative research, analyze business
strategies to identify new market in South and North America
 Administer and develop initiatives to increase sales and market
development activities and collaborate with internal team to provide best
solutions to problems and secure opportunities
 Manage the entire process in the planning of commodities procurement
and supply chain activities, inventory control, custom clearance, Logistics,
and distribution
 Evaluating applicability of SROs (Statutory and Regulatory Order) and
CGOs (Customs General Order) for exporting scrap and recycled
materials to buyers’ respective country
 Research and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans
and progress report
 Ensure compliance with import / export and customs regulations as per
the Importer’s country requirements

 Develop and gain new business as well as manage and maintain the
existing to ensure business growth and build up a pool of potential
customer database
 Develop strong working relationships with industry peers and evaluate
customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
 Detailed ongoing training of recycling standard categories
Qualification and Professional Skills requirement:

Experience
 At least 2 to 3 years of previous experience in the position or related
position
Education
 Bachelor’s degree
Skills & Attributes
Well-organized, effective interpersonal skills, Team player, client focus, Accurate,
excellent written and oral communication skills, fluent in English and flexibility.
 Well-organized and skilled approach to customer-service, writing and
presentation skills
 Working knowledge of MS office, MS access, MS Word, MS PowerPoint,
MS windows, and outlook
 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 Fluent in English and strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
 Ability to supervise 5 to 10 people
 Organized, flexible, reliable, effective interpersonal skills
 Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and
attention to details
