At this time, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct verification of financial transactions and procedures
· Perform account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
· Perform accounts payable functions, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
· Manage and process semi-monthly payrolls for staff
· Complete payroll deductions and remittances, tax remittance forms, HST
· Keep financial records
· Assist accountant with other duties, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
· Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
· 1 year of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
· Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Excellent English language skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
· Ability to excel working in an extremely fast-paced environment
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
· $28.40 hourly for minimum of 30 to 35 hours work week
· Occasional overtime may be required for meeting critical deadlines. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate
