We will provide:
– Pay rate: $18 – $19 per hour
– Minimum 35 hours / week throughout your employment period
– Paid vacation of 10 days per year
Duties
– Prepare breads, cakes and other pastries for Restaurant in accordance with Belle Vie Authentic Recipes and quality standard using the highest quality ingredients.
– Manage the Bakery team of 5-7 employees; hires, schedules, trains, provides feedback and motivation on products, ingredients and processes
– Orders and monitors inventories of all ingredients and products for baking, including tracking and documenting daily transfers and waste in the appropriate system.
– Mixing, matching, and blending colors to create custom cake decorations such as flowers, figurines, and beads; Applying frosting, sprinkles, and other toppings to finished cakes
– Collaborates closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all necessary parties are aware of daily bakery activities, including absences, schedule coverage and product availability
– Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times.
Requirements
– Minimum High school Education
– Minimum one month of experience in a similar field
– Ability to legally work in Canada
