Affordable Mattress & Furniture, located at 1240 Hamilton Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2B4 is currently looking for an Assistant Manager for its furniture store with minimum of one year of experience in managing/supervising furniture store or similar retail establishment. Eligible candidate should have at least a post secondary diploma or degree in related field. Applicant should be able to communicate in English fluently. Pay per hour will be $41.25 per hour. This is permanent full time position. We will also consider candidates who are willing to work part time. Job duties are some of the following:
• Organize and manage the operation of the store
• Maximizes store profitability and meet store financial objectives
• Recruit staff and train the store staff
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Negotiate arrangement with suppliers
• Manage store budget, assign duties to staff
• Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
• Assist in designing store floor lay-out
