At this time, we are looking to expand our service offerings and are currently seeking an experienced Appliance Service Technician who will provide our clients with professional, technical in-home appliance repair and maintenance services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Disassemble appliances, clean internal parts as needed, replace any faulty or worn-out parts, and reassemble
· Repair various home appliances and equipment in customer’s home
· Consult customer or refer to work order to establish nature of the appliance malfunction
· Refer to product manuals and utilize hand tools to disassemble appliances
· Use diagnostic equipment to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
· Replace damaged or malfunctioning parts and reassemble appliance using hand tools, soldering and brazing equipment
· Prepare estimates, invoices, and written accounts of work performed and materials/parts required
· May receive payment from customers
Requirements:
· Secondary School Diploma
· Completion of a college program in appliance repair or Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program is an asset
· 1 to 2 years of experience as an Appliance Service Technician, or similar role
· Good command of the English language
Compensation & Conditions:
· Full-time, permanent position
· $25.00 per hour for a minimum of 30-35 hours per week
· Occasional overtime may be required with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week
· Office location: 59 Ironside Drive, Vaughan, Ontario L4H 3R9
· Work location: various client sites across the GTA
