Job Description:
Sharpe Farm Supplies was founded near Guelph, ON over 30 years ago and sells a diverse range of products including animal feed, grain, crop protection, fertilizer, seed and other retail products for livestock and pets. They have retail stores and an online shop and are currently looking for 5 motivated, hard-working individuals to join their operation as Warehouse Workers. If you have 1 – 2 years related warehousing and forklift experience, are able to work independently and would like to be part of a great team, apply today.
Job Duties Include:
· Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
· Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking
· Filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
· Operating equipment and machinery
· General duties as required
Must be able to:
· Lift minimum loads of 23kg repeatedly
· Work in an environment containing dust, grain, milk and peanut allergens
· Follow health and safety procedures
