Job Description:
Sharpe Farm Supplies was founded near Guelph, ON over 30 years ago and sells a diverse range of products including animal feed, grain, crop protection, fertilizer, seed and other retail products for livestock and pets. They have retail stores and an online shop and are currently looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to join their operation as a Warehouse Supervisor. If you have a minimum of 2 years related warehousing experience, are able to work independently and would like to be part of a great team, apply today.
Job Duties Include:
· Supervise, plan, and assign tasks for warehouse workers carrying out shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products; processing purchasing transactions;
· Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements
· Train workers in job duties
· Requisition supplies and materials
· Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
· General warehouse duties as required
Must be able to:
· Work in an environment containing dust, grain, milk and peanut allergens
· Follow health and safety procedures
