Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Tire Repairer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, and rotating tires on commercial trucks to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect and assess the condition of truck and trailer tires
· Repair punctures, leaks, and other tire damage
· Mount and dismount tires using specialized equipment
· Rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed
· Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tire supplies
· Ensure all tire work meets safety and regulatory standards
· Assist with emergency roadside tire repairs when necessary
· Assist supervising manager in other task when necessary
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
• Experience is an asset, on-site training will be provided
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is an asset
• Good English language skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
• Being physically fit
Compensation and conditions:
• Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 35 weekly work hours
• The remuneration will be set at CAD$20.00 per hour
• Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
• Primary business location: 1439 Gingerich Road, Baden ON N3A 3J7.
