Duties:

·         Responsible for daily operation of the store ensuring efficiency and profitability;

·         Interviewing, hiring, firing, managing staff as required;

·         Training staff or delegating as necessary;

·         Provide excellent customer service;

·         Monitor budgets, expenses, revenue, profits and create sales goals accordingly;

·         Set daily specials and deals to bring in customers and encourage staff to meet sales goals;

·         Manage cash flow, Square, Excel and POS systems;

·         Complete weekly inventory checks, control quantity of materials and products to ensure product availability and quality;

·         Complete orders with suppliers based on inventory checks;

·         Communicate with suppliers, customers, etc to handle any complaints, issues or questions accordingly;

·         Coordinate and assist in organizing events, corporate functions, parties, catering, etc as required

Qualifications: Completion of a bachelor’s degree and more than one year of experience in a supervisory/management role in a restaurant/café setting. Knowledge of Italian culture, Italian cuisine, Italian coffee culture, Italian pastries and gelato are an asset.
