Wage: $130,000/year + vehicle allowance

Job Description:
• Responsible for overseeing and controlling construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Ensuring project meets scheduled targets, specifications and budget.
• Planning construction schedules and milestones.
• Conduct plan and specification analysis in order to provide clear, trackable and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.
• Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate.
• Prepare and analyze financial data ensuring positive cash flow for project.
• Analysis of contract terms, investigating and analyzing claims through documentation review, preparing and submitting claims, negotiating and settling disputes and collaborating with legal teams.
• Preparation of progress reports and submitting updates of timelines to clients.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of projects deliverables, build drawings, and turnover documents.
• Provide technical engineering information to employees and subcontractors to ensure project complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.
• Requisition/purchase of materials as required for each project.
• Hire and supervise the activities of workers and subcontractors.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression.
• Developing risk mitigation strategies and maintaining detailed reports
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.
• Understand and perform document control functions, including tracking and creating of RFI’s, transmitting and tracking of submittals, compose agreements and maintain project expediting list.
Job Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in civil construction/project management
• Construction related degree/diploma
• Ability to support the project team and helping to solve construction issues in time sensitive situations
• Ability to delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations
• Working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software
