Housekeeping Room Attendant (NOC 6731)

·         Salary: $16.00 / hour (increments available with service and experience)

·         2 vacancies

·         Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time: 32 to 40 hours / week

·         Start date: As soon as possible

·         Temporary accommodation is available until permanent accommodation is found – assistance given to employee to find a suitable place to live.

·        Employment conditions: must be available to work in any shift including Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend and Holidays

Duties and Responsibilities:

Job duties and Responsibilities:

 

Complete housekeeping activities assigned by the Housekeeping Department using required keys, equipment and supplies.

Sweep, mop, wash, polish floors, dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Handle and report lost and found items

Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items

Provide basic information on facilities

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Replenish stock such as coffee and toiletries.

Report any malfunctions, damages, repairs and maintenance needed to Supervisor.
