Job details
Salary: $15.20 / hour (with Service and experience, a front desk agent can make up to $17.50)
4 fulltime vacancies
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time; Part-time also available for those who required; 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible
Benefits: Employer sponsored health benefits after 9 months for full-time employees (includes prescriptions, dental, life/disability, travel insurance etc.). After passing three-month probation, discounts/special rates for overnight stays and discounts in the KurSpa, restaurant, and gift shop. Two weeks paid vacation annually.
Reliable transportation is essential due to lack of public transportation. Staff housing available on site, only for the employee for $200/month. This includes utilities, cable TV, wifi
Employment conditions: must be able to work flexible hours including Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekends and holidays
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: is an asset
Experience: previous front desk or other hospitality experience will be an asset.
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is not available and must have reliable transportation.

Operating Systems and Software:
Microsoft Office including OneNote, MS Word, MS Excel, Previous experience with Maestro Property Management system an asset.

Job requirements and Responsibilities:
Reports To: Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager.

Answer internal & external phone calls and emails and direct guests to the appropriate department,

Greet guests and visitors as they enter the resort,

Register guests, make and modify reservations, complete check outs and check ins and receive payment,

Create guest reservations and advise callers regarding rates and packages,

Be knowledgeable about Sparkling Hill amenities and policies in order to advise guests accurately,

Post and balance payments and charges on guest folios,

Communicate with other departments such as Maintenance and Housekeeping regarding requests and changes throughout the day,

Anticipate guest needs in order to provide seamless and exceptional service,

Receive & respond to guest concerns & address them promptly with the appropriate manager as needed,

Complete daily checklists and tasks to maintain organization at the Front Desk,

Count & verify individual cash floats and maintain responsibility for all cash received and given out,

Prepare reports,

Arrange transportation or other services for guests,

Other duties as assigned.
