Baker

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Mix and bake ingredients to produce cakes and desserts

·       Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to recipes

·       Producing all bakery items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner

·       Full knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

·       Provide training and support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships

·       Supports a clean and organized environment through regular clean up

·       Must be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment

 

Requirements:

·       2+ years’ experience

·       Completion of secondary school

·       Be physically capable of lifting (25 kg) and carrying heavy items, standing for long periods of time, repetitive hand motions, mixing, rolling, etc.

·       Be able to work early mornings

·       Attention to detail

·       Must be familiar with, and comply with, all health and safety standards

·       Be a self-starter and have excellent work ethic

·       Have enough technical knowledge of baking equipment to keep it in good working order

·       Good interpersonal skills and team player

 

Working Conditions:

·       Be able to work early morning shifts. Prep works may be required on weekend.

  • With our simpler navigation you will be able to view, edit or post your jobs with 1 or 2 mouse clicks.
  • You no longer need to Order Job Credits. Just post your Job and contact us with the payment details.
  • You can continue to email us and talk to us in person when you need to.
  • You can easily update your account information.
  • Password reset is quick and simple.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • If you are a current client, your account is still in place.
  • Your Jobs are still there.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • For greater security and peace of mind, you’ll be asked to change your password, when you first log in. We don’t store your passwords. Because of this, you simply use your regular username, and create a new password.
  • You’ll also be asked to enter your business name. Don’t worry, if you don’t want it to be displayed, you can click to “not” display Business Name. It will not be displayed when you post Jobs.
