Wage: $42.29 per hour + benefits according to Union Provincial Collective Agreement (full-time position)

What You’ll Do:
• Inspect and identify areas that require waterproofing
• Prepare surfaces for waterproofing by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing
• Apply waterproofing materials using various techniques such as spraying, rolling, or brushing
• Ensure that all waterproofing work is completed according to industry standards and regulations
• Monitor and maintain the condition of the waterproofing system over time
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure effective waterproofing in all areas of a building
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
• Hand-eye co-ordination
• Physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, large workload
• Repetitive tasks, overtime required, work under pressure, fast-paced environment.
Area of specialization:
• Conventional and inverted built-up system
• Modified roofing system
• Rigid pre-formed roofing system
• Single ply sheet membrane roofing system
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in waterproofing systems; installing, repairing and replacing various waterproofing systems, including sheet membranes, liquid membranes and sealants
